Founded in 1870 by Manoel Pedro Guedes, Aveleda is a wine company born from the passion for wine, for Nature and for family. Its birthplace is in the Vinhos Verdes Region, at Quinta da Aveleda. These passions and values have been perpetuated across the five generations that lead the company until this day. All of them with the purpose to leave something bigger and better than they have received, for the generations who follow.

The Aveleda wines had immediate worldwide recognition in the year they were launched, which shaped the basis for the creation of great wines and great brands. Owner of the main brand of the Vinho Verde region, Casal Garcia, nowadays Aveleda’s territory extents over five regions in Portugal. What drives us is the ambition to create wines of distinction that reflect the place and the community that produces them, with the goal of moving those who consume them around the world.
