ACIP

It is for the happiness, quality of life and well-being of every child, youth and adult with disabilities that Acip was born. A cooperative of social solidarity that dedicates its mission to Empowerment, Quality of Life and Inclusion. Since 2018, Aveleda embraces and sponsors the percussion project allowing young people to develop personal, social and musical skills, being already a brand image of social responsibility.

Bagos D'Ouro

Bagos D'Ouro

Bagos D'Ouro mission is to promote the education of children and young people in the Douro region who live in economic need. It operates in 6 Douro municipalities: Alijó, Armamar, Murça, Sabrosa, São João da Pesqueira and Tabuaço. In 2023, it will extend its activity to a new municipality - Mesão Frio - which means a close monitoring and commitment to 25 to 30 new children/youth. Aveleda is an active sponsor of Bagos D'Ouro through the Quinta Vale D. Maria since 2015.​

Aveleda is a partner of Humanwinety since 2022. This initiative aims to promote the inclusion of individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities, as well as other minorities, in the wine and tourism business, contributing to help address the lack of workers in this industry.​

A2000

The 2000 Association for the Support of Development - A2000 is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity, located in Poiares, in the municipality of Peso da Régua (in the facilities of the old Salesian School), in the heart of the Douro Valley, whose mission is to form, to capacitate and to socially and professionally insert people from the northern region, prioritizing children, people with deficiency or incapacity, elder people and other vulnerable publics, promoting their quality of life.

Our Actions

  • The donations we received in March were used to deliver food to families hosted by the Santo Tirso City Council;​
  • We furnished an apartment of the Municipality of São João da Pesqueira that housed several refugees;​​
  • We donated €10,000 to buy household appliances to equip several houses belonging to the Municipality of Celorico de Basto;​​​
  • Through a small association called "Nós do Vinho" we were directly involved in the reception and employment of 46 refugees (mainly women with children);​
  • We donated €10,000 to the SOUMA Association in Lisbon, which received about 600 Ukrainian refugees and delivers food baskets to 150 of these people.​
